There is often a sharp difference between a legal case as it appears in legal tomes versus what the reality looks like outside the courtroom.

On paper, the facts of the case in this week's episode of the podcast look like the sort of fodder that would be picked up by right-wing media outlets or the Reform party.

An asylum seeker took Glasgow City Council to court, arguing that the four-room property that was allocated to her and her family after becoming homeless was unsuitable.

At first glance this appears ungrateful, but it is far from the whole story.
