What Next for Assisted Dying?
Against odds and expectations, the Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill passed its third reading in the House of Commons by 314 votes to 291 last week.
We are now a step closer to terminally ill adults having the power to decide their own fate, instead of having to endure unconscionable pain for weeks and months.
However, the proposals still face significant hurdles before they become a reality.
